Welcome to my poetry site. A little history about me, I was encouraged by friends to share and publish my poems. I first started to write my most intimate thoughts and this was done in the form of a poem. My poetry allowed me to express the feelings I wasn’t able to express and on occasion was more like downloading my brain onto a page.

As you explore my poems you will see an array of themes. Some are based on my imagination and others are taken straight from real life. I only display poems written for clients that said I could use it as an example so others can see what I’ve done in the past.

Over time with trusted friends I began to expose some of these and found that it brought joy and even touched them. With encouragement to share my gift of short story telling in the form of a poem soon had people asking for more so sparkleon.com.au was created to bring a little sparkle into the lives of those that couldn’t find the words to tell someone how they felt or for a personal gift with a unique twist.

I found that many poetry sites that offered personalised poems, didn’t flow and were simply a template that just changed the names and not really personalised to tell the unique story. So with the support of friends I created this site so anyone can have a personalised poem from their experiences, feelings and or thoughts.
